Episode 5, Part 1.

In this episode, Assistant Professor Melanie Miller Foster and Educational Developer Natalie Jellinek discuss teaching and learning in higher education in relation to internationalization, global learning, and the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.  

In Part 1, common understandings and uses of the terms internationalization and global learning are discussed, followed by a discussion of what working this way can look like in different contexts. Natalie and Melanie discuss the GCUA (Global Challenges University Alliance) and how SLU and Penn State University are developing Ph.D. training that aims to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
