Andreas Seiler
Jag arbetar med frågor kring vilt och trafik, landskap och infrastruktur. Genom mitt arbete försöker jag bidra till utveckling av ett ekologiskt hållbart och miljövänligt transportsystem.

Forskning

Min forskning omfattar analyser av viltolyckor, trafikdödlighet, barriär- och störningseffekter på djur samt effekten av åtgärder som kan vidtas för att minska påverkan på faunan. 

Jag medverkar aktuellt i projekt som:

Interreg Sverige-Norge: Viltvarning - Viltsäker järnväg (Samarbetsprojekt med Trafikverket, SJ och Enviroplannig AB, samt Ruralis och Nibio)

BISON - Biodiversity mainstreaming in transport infrastructure

Samverkan

I mitt arbete samverkar jag nationellt med berörda myndigheter som Trafikverket, Rikspolisstyrelsen (Viltolycksrådet), Naturvårdsverket. 

I min forskning samarbetar med flera företag som t ex Enviroplanning, Calluna, Sweco.

Som medlem i styrelsen för IENE-nätverket (Infra Eco Network Europe) arbetar jag på internationell nivå med vetenskapliga konferenser och samarbetsprojekt kring fauna och infrastruktur.
