Ortsforum, NOR och handledarpris

Den 7 december var det dags för Ortsforum i Alnarp. Det är en tradition att alla på campus i luciatid samlas till fika och mingel, få senaste nytt och att hedra medarbetare som får motta utmärkelsen "För nit och redlighet i rikets tjänst".
De som i år mottog utmärkelsen i Alnarp var (fr v):
Johan Ascard, Tillväxt Trädgård/Samverkan och utveckling
Eva-Lou Gustafsson, Landskapsarkitektur, planering och förvaltning
Håkan Asp, Biosystem och teknologi
Johan Ottosson, Arbetsvetenskap, ekonomi och miljöpsykologi
Urban Nilsson, Sydsvensk skogsvetenskap
Utmärkelserna delades ut av dekan Håkan Schroeder (t h i bilden)

Årets handledarpris delades också ut. Det är doktorandrådet på SLU Alnarp som genom omröstning varje år utser årets handledare.
I år gick priset till Lars Mogren med motiveringen:
Lars Mogren is a young and energetic scientist working in the field of Horticultural Sciences with special focus on bioactive compounds in vegetables. He is very active and knowledgeable supervisor who is always available to respond to the research questions asked by his students and opens thought-provoking discussions.
Lars prioritizes his supervisory tasks and provide constructive and healthy feedback, and his relationship with his students is exclusively based on trust. His vast experience in his research field helped PhD students over the years and we believe that his work is not only an asset for SLU but the whole scientific community. All these factors make him a worthy choice for this year’s Best Supervisor Award.
