Ola Lundin
Ola Lundins forskning fokuserar på insektsskadegörarnas och nyttoinsekternas interaktioner med grödorna. Forskningen omfattar interaktionernas drivkrafter och skördepåverkan, samt hur funktionellt viktiga insekter i jordbruket (pollinerare, skadegörare och naturliga fiender) kan hanteras och förvaltas i ett odlingssystemperspektiv.

Presentation

Min doktorsavhandling handlade om pollinering och kontroll av skadegörare i rödklöverfröodling.

Under min postdoc vid University of California Davis undersökte jag hur blomremsor kan användas för att stödja pollinering och kontroll av skadegörare i mandel-, vattenmelon- och tomatodlingar.

Exempel på nuvarande forskningsprojekt:

Undersådda blommande baljväxter för multifunktionell svensk spannmålsodling. Fabian Bötzl arbetar som postdoktor i projektet. Med Göran Bergkvist, Maria Viketoft och Hanna Friberg. Finansierat av Formas (2020-2023).

Safeguard - safeguarding European wild pollinators. SLUs medverkan leds av René van der Wal. Finansierat av EU Horizon 2020 (2021-2024).

Transformera livsmedelskedjan baserad på ekologiskt och ekonomiskt hållbar grödodling (TRANSECO). Projektet leds av Riccardo Bommarco. Finansierat av Formas (2022-2025). 

Integrerad växt- och pollinatörshälsa för hållbar produktion av växtprotein. Med Åsa Grimberg, Mattias Larsson och Maj Rundlöf. Finasierat av Formas (2023-2025).

Undervisning

Jag undervisar främst på Växtodlingsprogrammet. Jag är kursledare och undervisar i samhällsekologi på Ekologi-kursen (BI1252) och jag undervisar också på Introduktionskurs – Växtodlingsprogrammet (LB0125) samt i växtskydd mot insekter på kursen Växtproduktion - ogräs och växtskadegörare (BI1352). 

Studenter som är intresserade av att skriva examensarbeten om växtskydd mot insekter, nyttoinsekter och diversifierade odlingssystem är välkomna att kontakta mig.
