COURSE: Design Thinking – New Perspectives on Innovation

Design Thinking is the method of development and innovation that is based on the user’s needs.
By working ideas-based with prototypes and visualization, you can quickly test your ideas and then rethink and improve through many iterations.

As a part of an interdisciplinary team, you will get an opportunity test your skills and solve real challenges from established companies.
The method is already used by world-leading companies and is becoming increasingly current and in demand in the labor market.

For whom?
The participants are students, scientists or professionals who are interested in innovation, business development and creative problem solving. You want to
strengthen your innovation ability and learn a sought-after, powerful and useful method for innovation.

Goals
After the course you will be able to:

• Use Design Thinking as a process and method.
• Develop and improve services and products.
• Explore customer groups and visualize their needs.
• Create different types of prototypes and test them.

The course is given March 19 - May 14 in Green Innovation Park Uppsala and is spread over 10 week with seven lessons, every lesson is three hours (16-19 - lighter meal included).
