Interpret Europe's 2024-conference will be held in Slovenia from 21 to 24 March 2024. There will be a packed programme of inspiring keynote speeches, workshops, presentations and study visits, where we’ll explore how can heritage interpretation challenge people’s mindsets in a way that doesn’t focus on doom and gloom but keeps their spirits up for successful transition.
Interpret Europe conferences attract, from as many as 40 countries, up to 200 attendees, all of whom share a dedication to support local people and visitors in their search for meaning in heritage. Besides seminal keynote speeches and study visits to remarkable heritage sites, IE conferences benefit from up to 40 presentations and interactive workshops delivered by their attendees.

5 November 2023: Registration opens
20 December 2023: Abstracts of papers need to be delivered
15 January 2024: Authors receive feedback about their abstracts
28 January 2024: Abstracts of papers will be online
28 January 2024: Authors need to have registered and paid the conference fee
9 February 2024: Early-bird registration ends
9 February 2024: Full papers need to be delivered (full papers are not mandatory)
15 March 2024: Regular registration ends
21 March 2024: Full papers and abstracts are published in online proceedings
