Challenges with forest logistics

Todays forest logistics faces a number of new and old challenges. In this seminar, we describe the characteristics of these challenges and describe some examples on how to address and find solutions. These solutions include the use of Big data, digital twins and automation for harvesting, forwarding, transportation and planning activities. A short demonstration of a decision support is included. The seminar also include a description on how to find the required competency for implementation and how educational games can play an important role for providing a common understanding.
