SLU welcomes Dr. Brett Butler, Director of the US Forest Service National Woodland Owner Survey and Co-director of the US Forest Service-University of Massachusetts Amherst Family Forest Research Center.
Brett will discuss the topic “Assessing Wood Supply and Sustainability of Family Forests in the United States using Coupled National Forest Inventory and National Forestland Owner Surveys”, and how he and his team integrate forest inventory and owner survey data to conduct sustainability assessments.
