SAFE (SITES Agroecological Field Experiment) was established in 2016 in Lönnstorp research station. SAFE consists of four agricultural systems: organic cropping system, reference conventional cropping rotation, agroecological intensification cropping system and perennial cereal cropping system. The interest for the last two ones is increasing year and in year out, both at SLU but for outside researchers as well. SITES spectral program (images and sensors data) is gaining interest as well.

After 5 years of the experiment establishment, we will have a look in the evolution of the crop yield in the different systems, some examples of how to use the spectral data and preliminary results from some of the additional experiments established within SAFE.
