Introduction to the key success features of EU research and innovation projects. What are the steps, what are the tasks and responsibilities of a partner and the coordinating organisation? Best and worst practices will help highlighting how a successful or bad project looks like.

Finding a call and doing a background research: Checking previously funded projects, finding results to build on, checking policy documents

• Proposal writing and submission on the portal
• What to learn first? KIP, KPIs, interdisciplinarity, open innovation, Gantt, PERT, deliverables, milestones, etc – some concepts for proposal writing

(10:15 – 10:45 Coffee break)

10:45 – 11:15 Exercise: Practicing the basic tools under the moderation of trainers, participants work on mentimeter questions and case studies to understand better the concept development process.
