Det europeiska projektet TEHIC, "Towards a European Heritage Interpretation Curriculum", är ett samarbete mellan sju länder. Syftet är att utveckla en utbildningsplan för interpretationsutbildning vid europeiska högskolor och universitet.
En av parterna är Göteborgs universitet, avdelningen för Historiska studier, tillsammans med bland andra Universitetet i Freiburg i Tyskland, universitetet i Zagreb, Kroatien samt organisationen AIP i Spanien.
TEHIC bjuder in till en internationell avslutningkonferens som hålls i Göteborg, 26-27 maj 2025, med ett Open Call for papers, bidrag till konferenspresentationer:
"this conference aims to advance the field of heritage interpretation by uniting diverse disciplinary perspectives. Through the exploration of international case studies and practical experiences, it seeks to shed light on the training and professionalisation of heritage interpreters. The conference will enhance our understanding of how heritage can be effectively communicated and preserved across various audiences and settings, while also examining the training required and current development of the sector"
Konferensgruppen välkomnar bidrag omkring följande frågeställningar:
- Heritage Narratives and Identity
- Digital Innovations in Heritage Interpretation
- Community Engagement and Participation
- Challenges of Interpreting Intangible Heritage
- Heritage Interpretation in a Globalised Context
- Sustainability and Ethics in Heritage Interpretation
Förslag ska vara inlämnade senast 25 november.
