Welcome to a lecture about norms of masculinity and gender equality

On 23 March, the Equal Opportunities Committee at the NJ Faculty welcomes you all to join Adam Kero from MÄN for a conversation on the relationship between norms of masculinity, violence and gender equality. How do these dynamics play out in our everyday life? And how do we link the personal performance of gender roles to the structural challenges we face as a society, such as the climate crisis. MÄN want to increase awareness of masculinity norms and create space for discussions around how to redefine masculinity. Together we will explore some of MÄN’s methods to create an inclusive conversation, and how challenging norms of masculinity can lead to a less violent and more sustainable society.
