Call for seed funding in One Health
SLU Future One Health has opened a call for seed funding to support the development of interdisciplinary One Health research proposals. SLU researchers can apply for up to SEK 200,000 to strengthen future research applications. The deadline is 17 March 2026.
SLU Future One Health is announcing seed funding aimed at supporting SLU researchers in developing competitive interdisciplinary research proposals within One Health. The funding can be used for activities such as pilot or feasibility studies, literature reviews, consortium meetings, or expert support that strengthen proposals intended for external funding bodies, for example Formas, VR, Forte or EU Horizon.
The call targets research that addresses complex One Health challenges through collaboration across scientific disciplines and faculties at SLU. Applications must involve more than one SLU faculty, as well as include at least three of the four One Health aspects: animal, plant, human and environmental health. The funded activity must result in the submission of an interdisciplinary One Health research proposal by the end of 2027.
The call is open to all SLU researchers.
