Presentation
I am a Lecturer at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), specialising in Digital Tools within Landscape Planning and Urban Development. My academic background in urban planning and landscape architecture forms the foundation of my expertise in a range of field-specific digital environments, including ArcGIS, SketchUp, and other platforms for spatial analysis and visualisation.
My teaching and research focus on the integration of digital technologies in planning and design processes. I teach and supervise students in computer laboratories across a variety of courses, encompassing topics such as spatial analysis using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and 3D modelling and rendering for landscape visualisation. In addition to teaching, I am engaged in the continuous development and refinement of digital workflows that support innovative approaches to landscape representation and urban analysis.
I also serve as the Course Leader for Studio 2 – Housing in an Urban Context, a design studio in which students explore themes of sustainable living and urban design through collaborative and practice-based learning.
The following list include some key-tools from my repertoire:
Adobe Suite, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, CityEngine, MS Office, Rhino, SketchUp, SPSS, QGIS, V-Ray, Virtual Reality applications.
Languages: English and Swedish.
Undervisning
I’m primarily involved in the following courses:
Advanced Digital Landscape Analysis with GIS (ML);
Digital Landscape Visualisation (ML);
Indoor Garden Design (BL);
Landscape Planning Foundations (BL);
Spatial Design in Dialogue with a Place (BL);
Studio 2 - Housing in an urban context (BL).
(ML= Master level; BL= Bachelor level)
Forskning
I frequently collaborate in research projects where I provide expertise in spatial analysis and digital mapping, for example in the research report SOFRA and more.
Samverkan
In addition to my academic work, I am engaged in several professional networks spanning the public and private sectors. Through these collaborations, I contribute to dialogues and initiatives addressing sustainable urban development, digital innovation in planning, and landscape architecture practice.
