As a Doctoral student at SLU, there are many options to go abroad during your studies. You may apply for exchange studies at one of SLU's Partner Universities or apply for a Staff exchange.

Courses at Universities abroad

In the Move On publisher you'll find SLU's student exchange partner universities. By filtering on Study level: Doctorate/PHD you will be able to see which of the partner universities that offers courses for PhD students, including, you may filter on subject area or a specific country. 

Through the Nordic network NOVA you have the possibility to study courses related to SLU's different research- and educational areas.  

ELLS network is a European network with universities that conduct research and education in the areas of Life Science. You have the opportunity to apply for ELLS grants to participate in, or arrange summer courses.

Further, the SLU initiated network Global Challenges University Alliance offers different courses, seminars and networking opportunities for doctoral students and researcher. Read more about GCUA 2030 here.

Staff exchange

As a doctoral student you may also conduct a staff- or teacher exchange. You'll find more information under My Employment at the page Staff and teacher mobility.

Travel grants
