Doctoral students admitted to SLU and financed with scholarships are from 2014-01-01 covered by an Health and parental insurance through an agreement with Kammarkollegiet.
The doctoral student may claim remuneration if the scholarship is reduced due to abscence from studies in the case of illness or parental leave. Report the leave the day after the first day of absence (at the latest). It is usually required of the student to show that the sick leave from her/his education has resulted in a temporary withdrawal of the scholarship, or that the studies have been delayed.
