Originality
Originality is a plagiarism tracking system that SLU's teachers have access to. Through Originality, all types of exam papers and submissions can be checked against a large number of sources to detect possible plagiarism.
Inspera Originality replaces Ouriginal (Urkund)
On October 31, 2025, Ouriginal will be shut down and replaced by the new plagiarism checking tool: Inspera Originality. The change is due to the supplier behind Ouriginal being acquired and choosing to discontinue the service.
Just like Ouriginal, Inspera Originality is used to analyze student submissions and generate reports as a basis for your own assessment. The system will be able to be used directly via Canvas and there will also be the possibility of independent reviews.
