What is Pivot-RP?

Pivot-RP is the primary source of information on funding opportunities for SLU staff and students. Pivot-RP enables you to identify open and upcoming calls for funding and connect with potential collaborators within the SLU community and beyond. The Pivot-RP database is updated daily and contains information about billions of euros in funding opportunities across all disciplines from over 20,000 funders worldwide - government, corporate, private foundations, and others.

You can create saved searches and claim your research profile to receive weekly updates on new and upcoming calls that match you. Access is limited to authenticated users, so you must have an SLU email address to log in. Alternatively, to access Pivot-RP without logging in, you must connect to the SLU network.

How do I set up my account?

To set up your account, visit https://pivot.proquest.com and register using your SLU email address. After you sign up, remember to click on the link in the confirmation email that you receive.

How do I search for funding opportunities?

We recommend starting a search by entering broad terms (such as a research topic or discipline) in the search box and then refining the results using the advanced search filters.

Why should I update my profile?

You must claim/create and update your Pivot-RP profile to receive funding opportunity matches targeted to you and get discovered as a potential collaborator by your peers. In most cases, the Pivot-RP editorial team will have pre-populated your profile biographical information from SLU’s public web pages (this will take several weeks after our subscription starts on Dec 1, 2024). However, there can be mistakes, so taking a few minutes to check and update your profile is a really good idea.
