Support for external funding across SLU

There are several units within the SLU administration that are involved in supporting researchers and administrative staff in matters of external funding.

  • Grants Office
    Grants Office is SLU's main support function for external funding. They help and give advice in everything from project planning, budgeting, proposal writing to project implementation, project management and auditing

  • Legal Unit
    Support with contracts, grant agreements, consortium agreements and IPR issues

  • Research Officers
    Are present at all four faculties and are contact point for faculty-specific research issues

  • Donations and partnerships
    If you have an idea about an interesting project or other venture for fundraising you can contact the person in charge of fundraising at your faculty or SLU’s central fundraisers.

  • SLU Global
    SLU Global is SLU's unit for our cooperation with developing countries

  • SLU Library with Data Management Support
    The library can help with publication analyses, visualisations and research data management.

  • Division of Financial Administration Support
    SLU's central support for financial issues

  • EU financial administration network
    A network of financial administrators at SLU

  • SET - Strategic External funding Team
    Group for strategic issuses on research funding across faculties

  • Department administration
    Departments' internal support to researchers on project financial issues and administration

  • Language unit
    Translation service between Swedish and English

  • Archives (in Swedish)
    Registering and storing project documentation in line with SLU policy. Public 360

  • SLU Holding
    Innovation support at SLU with advisors and business developers who are experts in developing research results into new processes, services or products

  • Education unit
    Admintrates staff and student exchange programs, experts on proposals to the Erasmus program

  • GHAL (most pages in Swedish)
    Training courses and advice on leadership skills

  • Nagoya issues
    Support with all issues connected to the Nagoya protocol and the EU ABS regulation
