During a five-year period, the participants receive a grant of SEK 15 million each and will also undergo solid leadership training. The aim of the program is to give newly established researchers with the highest scientific and pedagogical competence, the opportunity to develop as research leaders. The individuals must have the ambition to implement research results in society also outside the academy and, at a later stage of their career, shoulder the responsibility for a constellation that is significantly larger than their own research group. Applicants must have completed their Swedish doctoral degree, or equivalent foreign degree, within the period 1 January 2018 – 31 December 2020. It is only permitted to apply to the program once during their career.
