Doctoral students admitted to courses or programmes before 1 January 2013 are subject to the earlier guidelines for each faculty.
However, students admitted before 1 January 2013 can change over to the new guidelines following a request submitted to the faculty board. The new university guidelines always apply when it comes to procedure to follow when a course or programme is unsatisfactory.
