The Canvas Shut Down
UPDATE MAY 13 2026:
Canvas is now open again.
Some features are not working as usual yet, especially connections to other systems. These will be turned on in stages.
Log in with your SLU username
Students and employees. Your username was provided by SLU.
Log in with your email
Users who do not have a SLU username. Your email is your username.
You will need to change your password the first time you log in.
Use Chrome or Firefox web browsers when signing in to Canvas. If these don't work, make sure you have the latest version of the browser.
Canvas Support
Servicedesk helps you with:
- Support.
- Sandbox (a test room where you can try the tools).
- Create users missing in Canvas and not in Idis.
You reach Servicedesk via extension 6600 or support@slu.se.
