On this page, you will find consolidated information about planned mailings to new international programme students from the EU/EEA and Switzerland (non-fee-paying students) ahead of the autumn semester 2026. It outlines when the mailings are scheduled and how they fit into the process of welcoming new students.

Mailings

Between the publication of the first admission results on 10 July and the second admission results on 23 July, new students will receive several emails and text messages from:

  • Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR)/ Antagning.se
  • SLU, coordinated by the Division of Communication.

15 July – Email reminder to respond to the admissions notification.

Sent to all applicants who have received an admissions notification.

17 July – SMS reminder to respond to the admissions notification.

Sent to applicants who have not yet responded to their admissions notification.

Mailings coordinated by the Division of Communication

10 July – Mailing to all newly admitted programme students

The mailing will be sent in both Swedish and English on the same day as the first admissions notification.

Preliminary content:

  • Link to the New student pages (also included in the admissions notification).
  • Reminder to accept your offer.
  • Reminder to join the Goin' Connect app to get to know your future fellow students.
  • Reminder of chatting with SLU students via Unibuddy.
  • Welcome webinar on 14 July (for English-speaking students).
  • Links to accommodation information and campus webpages.
  • Contact details for the Study and career guidance service at SLU.
  • Follow SLU on social media.

23 July – Mailing to all newly admitted programme students

The mailing will be sent in both Swedish and English on the same day as the second admissions notification.

Preliminary content:
