Presentation

My research has been focusing on designing productive systems with food and biomass crops while achieving minimal environmental impact (on soil and water quality, and biodiversity), including recycling of different nutrient-rich wastes.

Lately I am increasingly working with the science-policy interface to support the implementation of smart innovation in agriculture contributing to the sustainable transformation of agri-food systems.

Teaching

Organiser of Doctoral Course “Production of non-food- biomass for a bio-based economy (5 HEC)”, SLU’s Research School Sustainable systems for food, energy and biomaterials (SSFEB).

Guest lecturer in several other under- and postgraduate courses at SLU and partner universities
