During the autumn of 2021, a new faculty board will be elected at the LTV faculty for the term of office 2022 - 2024. The faculty board at the LTV faculty will have seven members and two deputies. Among the seven regular members, the dean and vice dean are also appointed.

The nomination committee’s proposal
Seven members/deputies:
1 due to conflict of interest, Andrew Butler has not been part in nomination committee’s discussions that led to suggesting Emma Butler as member/deputy.
2 Åsa Lankinen is also suggested as vice-dean for research education (appointed by the faculty board).
Free nominations
Everyone who has voting right is hereby invited to make free nominations, if you think that one or several other persons than those in the nomination committee’s proposal should be elected to the faculty board. Freely nominated candidates must hold a PhD/have the research or artistic competence referred to in Chapter 2, Section 6 of the Swedish Higher Education Act (1992:1434).
Free nominations can be made until 15 October 2021, email to valberedning-ltv@slu.se, along with a filled-in nomination form (the form has been sent via email to everyone who has voting right) and a short personal presentation of the nominated person.
The election of faculty board members is performed in SLUs electronic election system during the period 25 October – 2 November 2021.
All candidates, those on the nomination committee’s proposal as well as freely nominated persons, are given the opportunity to present themselves at a digital hearing, on 27 October at 15.00 – 17.00.

Request to the employees of the LTV-faculty to nominate candidates for election to the faculty board
In the autumn of 2021, a new faculty board will be elected at LTV faculty for the period 2022 – 2024. All employees at the LTV faculty are hereby invited to nominate candidates. Everyone have the right submit nominations, even if you do not have voting right in the election.
The faculty board at the LTV Faculty shall have seven members and two deputy members. The dean and pro-dean will be selected among the seven board members.
The majority of the faculty board shall be members of the faculty electorate (for information on who belongs to the faculty electorate, see the university board’s delegation of authority, p 19, see the link below), but persons who do not belong to electorate can also be nominated.
Nominations should be submitted via email to valberedning-ltv@slu.se, and nominations are welcome already now. The nominated need not be asked, but a short motivation is welcome for nominations as dean and pro-dean.
