Svea on it's way home

SLU's new research vessel left Vigo with the course set on Lysekil last Monday evening. The technical error on the propulsion system has been repaired. Estimated arrival in Lysekil is during Saturday.
Last time Svea set course on Sweden the vessel suffered an error in the propulsion system. Since then the basic error has been corrected, components have been replaced and the software has been updated. Experts from SLU, The Swedish Maritime Administration, the shipyard, the classification society - DNV and the system supplier have participated in rigorous quaysida trials as well as sea trials with an approved result.
Today, Wednesday, Svea is in the English Channel and is expected to reach Lysekil during the Saturday.
