The faculty office's primary task is to support the faculty management and the departments with the basis for decisions and administration.
The S Faculty Office is part of the university administration at SLU and is based in Umeå.
The office handles planning, case preparation, financial management, monitoring, expert support, ongoing administration, and more within various operational areas of the faculty.
The office staff also serve as secretaries and rapporteurs in the faculty's various boards, committees, and subcommittees.

Jag jobbar med ett projekt som ska få fler unga att söka till skogsutbildningar, med hjälp av ett läromedel om skog för gymnasiet och högstadiet (skogslabbet.se), kampanjer som inspirerar unga kring skogsjobb (entypiskskogsarbetare.se) och aktiviteter för klasser och ungdomar.
