Apply for seed money for fall 2024

Summer’s officially over – it’s time to start working on your seed money applications.

Twice annually, Future Forests offers seed money to select researchers and Ph.D. students at SLU, Skogforsk and Umeå University. We especially welcome applications including one or more junior researchers. We also encourage applications with co-applicants from wider society and/or the forest sector.

Applications can be for 50 or 100 000 SEK (per project). Up to five projects are greenlit each time. Deadline for applications for fall 2024 is October 6. Read more about seed money on our website.
