Emma Moberg
Presentation
My PhD work has involved identifying current environmental impacts of the Swedish diet and benchmarking these relative to global environmental targets.
A central part of my PhD studies has been to examine different aspects of food taxation including how climate impact values of food can be established for use in taxation. I have worked with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to calculate the climate impact of food products on the Swedish market that will be affected by a climate tax. An important part of my work has involved examining methodological choices within LCA and the effect of the choices on the climate impact of food products. I have also been working with identifying potential goal conflicts resulting from taxation.
Teaching
Teaching in LCA courses offered by the Department of Energy and Technology at SLU, and at Uppsala University.
