Deadlines March 7 and 14.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is currently working on its next comprehensive report, the Sixth Assessment Report (AR6). These reports are published every 6 or 7 years. The latest report, AR5, was completed in 2014, and provided the main scientific input to the Paris Agreement. Experts that want to provide scientific comments on the second draft of the report “Mitigation of climate change” from Working Group III, are now welcome to register on IPCC’s web. The deadline to register is March 7, and the deadline to provide comments is March 14.

Chapters to be reviewed include Agriculture, forestry and other land use (AFOLU), but other chapters may also be of relevance for SLU experts. Experts register themselves and submit their comments directly to IPCC. To contribute to an overview of SLU:s involvement, you are however welcome to send a message for information to sara.graslund@slu.se, if you have provided a review.
