I am an ecologist interested in entomology and landscape ecology. Right now I work together with Anders Glimskär, Karin Ahrné and Erik Öckinger in a pilot study that will help us decide which is the best way to set up a monitoring program for pollinators in agricultural landscapes for the whole Sweden. During my PhD I worked with food web ecology in agroecosystems and natural control of insect pests. Among many things I examined how crop diversity affects insect diversity in agricultural landscapes; how organic management influences soil fauna and its consequences for pest control; or how landscape complexity can modified species interaction foodwebs (predator-prey and parasitoid-host). I am also interested in ornithology and urban biodiversity.
