Presentation
I am a PhD student interested in One Health problem of antimicrobial resistance and a scientific fan of application of different bioinformatical tools for finding solution to biomedical problems. As well as being a part of Graduate School for Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, I am also a PhD student within Uppsala Antibiotic Center (UAC) and Swedish National Graduate School in Medical Bioinformatics (MedBioInfo).
Research
My project investigates the dynamics of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in pig farm environments, recognizing these settings as significant contributors to environmental AMR and valuable model for AMR studies. The project's goal is to integrate metagenomics, bioinformatics, epidemiology, and machine learning methods to uncover risk factors that may lead to the development and/or spread of AMR within the farm environment. The findings from this project will influence antibiotic use in livestock and can also be applied in a One Health context.
