Policy for availability and email etiquette at the NJ Faculty
Last changed: 27 June 2024
New technology creates opportunities for increased flexibility and availability but does not mean that employees should be constantly available. The NJ Faculty has a policy for availability and email etiquette to convey the faculty management's thoughts on this and provide a basis for reflection.
A healthy approach to technical tools contributes to reducing stress and improving the working environment. Managers have a special responsibility to lead by example.
The policy contains guidelines for availability and expectations regarding the use of email, and remote work, as well as phone and email etiquette and meeting etiquette.
Please read the "Availability and email etiquette at the NJ Faculty".
