Statistical courses at SLU 2023-2025

A new time plan for the PhD courses, Statistics I, Statistics II, Statistics III, Statistics IV and Statistical methods – an overview, for the years 2023 to 2025 have been decided by the center for statistics and FUR.
The council for PhD education at SLU (FUR) has decided to continue the financial support for courses in statistics for the period 2023-2025. The time plan for these courses, Statistics I – Statistics IV, and Statistical methods – an overview, can be found here: https://www.slu.se/en/Collaborative-Centres-and-Projects/centreforstatistics/courses/ . Several courses will be given as distance courses, while campus courses often have a schedule that allows travel to the campus for one or a few days per week.
In addition to these courses the center for statistics strives to provide further courses that are relevant for SLU Ph.D. students. For the coming year the course ‘Survey methodology for questionnaire-based surveys’ will be given as distance course with single meetings in Uppsala. Moreover the courses “Basic R programming” och Advanced R programming” will be given in Umeå in January and February. For details and more upcoming courses check the Statistics@SLU calendar.
