Published: 28 August 2019

SLU Future Food offers grants for projects and activities that strengthen knowledge production for sustainable food systems. On the 2 September, the second general application period of this year is starting. You can apply until 31 October.

Those seeking the grant must be linked to SLU, but people who do not work at SLU are welcome to participate in projects and activities. However, projects and activities must have SLU as the sender.

What we give grants for

During our general application periods, you can apply for grants for:

  • Pilot studies
  • Feasibility studies
  • Syntheses (which result in an article/report)
  • Developing interdisciplinary collaborations
  • Writing applications - seed money
  • Actions that strengthen projects, research collaborations or research areas (such as contributions for organizing conferences, workshops and seminars, etc.)

More information on criteria to be met and how to submit an application can be found at the link below. We will give notice of the applications in early November.
