Current PhD studies focusses on resilient feed and animal production systems in the Nordic context with a special focus on dual purpose cropping systems (DPCS) in differt parts of Sweden.  

Previous studies were in optimilizing and understanding food production within controlled-environment agriculture (CEA).

Originally I am from the Netherlands but the past 8 years I have living in many parts of Sweden; Jämtland, Skåne, Stockholm, & Umeå. I have a great passion for food in a very broad perspective. How to cultivate, produce, preserve, make, & enjoy food!

Main supervisor during my studies is Mårten Hetta (SLU) and co-supervision by David Parsons (SLU) & Emelie Ekholm (Lantmännen).
