Research

In my current position, I focus on i) incorporating tree branch turnover into forest carbon dynamics, and ii) evaluating the impact of diffuse irradiance on the photosynthesis of Scots pine and Norway spruce across different canopy depths.

During my Ph.D. studies, using a multifactor climate change experiment, I investigated the ecophysiological responses of tree seedlings (seed germination, leaf gas exchange, and biomass growth) to extreme heat and precipitation.
