Admas Alemu Abebe
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the department of plant breeding, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. I am working on the genetics and genomics of cereal crops for disease resistance.

Research

I am involved in researches focused on genome-wide association analysis and genomic selection for resistance to various diseases in cereal crops. We apply high-throughput genotyping and phenotyping platforms for the detection and application of molecular tools in cereal crops breeding resistant to diseases including septoria, rust and powdery mildew.
