Speakers
Erik Hysing is Professor in Political Science and his academic work has mainly focused on environmental governance with a broad theoretical and empirical interest in issues of policy change and implementation, public administration and the role of public officials, citizen participation and democratic legitimacy, and new forms of governance.
Madalina Vlasceanus is an Assistant Professor of Psychology and her research focuses on the cognitive and social processes that shape individuals’ and collectives’ memories, beliefs, and behaviours, with direct applications for policy. It is situated at the intersection of basic and applied science, incorporates an interdisciplinary perspective, and directly informs policy relevant to current societal issues, such as the climate crisis.
