The workshop is divided into two parts:
Part one:
For those who register to the workshop a link will be sent out on the 4th of May. In this link you will find two presentations that you can watch and listen to before the workshop. The first presentation is a crash course to the discrimination act and SLU’s proactive work with equal opportunities, and the second presentation gives an introduction to norms and inclusive communication.
Part two:
During the workshop we will continue to discuss equal opportunities and proactive work in terms of the Discrimination Act and how it applies to you as PhD students. We will also discuss the proactive work’s links to norms and norm critical perspectives and further the importance of inclusive communication. The workshop is entirely devoted to various interactive exercises where we discuss and reflect upon different statements or questions, share thoughts and discuss how we can further improve our proactive work with equal opportunities.
The workshop is arranged by the equal opportunities committees at the NJ faculty and the VH faculty and has been planned in dialogue with the PhD student council at each faculty.
Welcome!
