Welcome to this workshop, we will give an introduction to master suppression techniques (which can range from the overt to the subtle) and counter strategies including affirmation techniques. Then there will follow an interactive part where you will have the opportunity to explore master suppression techniques and counter strategies hands on.
Last time, which were in May, we were talking about norms and norm criticism and further the importance of inclusive communication. Now we will explore this further by introducing methods for dealing with norms and power structures in social interaction and communication.
This is a joint arrangement between the NJ faculty and the VH faculty together with the Doctoral student ombudsman, and this is the second time we do it together. Our ambition is to offer this twice a year.
Welcome!
