Avoid intrusion into Zoom

To increase integrity and security when using the Zoom video conferencing tool, there are some settings that you should apply to your video conference or distance reading.

  • Set a password for your meeting so that only the participants who have been given the password can join the meeting or restrict the opportunity for participants to join the meeting before you as a meeting organizer have joined you.
  • Do not publish meeting invitations in public, just share the meeting link and password with trusted meeting participants.
  • Turn off the ability for participants to present content and share their screen.
