New Temporary Management at the Institute of Marine Research

The Institute of Marine Research in Lysekil is getting a new temporary management team. This interim leadership will be in place until August 31, 2025. In the spring, an investigation will also be launched to find a more permanent solution.

To ensure continued stability and a good working environment, an interim management has been appointed at the Institute of Marine Resarch in Lysekil. The new management team consists of four people, with an acting head of division and three assistant heads of division taking over responsibility. In addition, a council with representatives from different areas of activity is being formed to support the management in pushing strategic issues forward.

Temporary management team

  • Daniel Valentinsson - Acting head of division with direct personnel responsibility.
  • Maria Hansson - Assistant/Deputy head of division with direct personnel responsibility.
  • Andreas Wikström - Assistant head of division with direct personnel responsibility.
  • Jessica Peterson - Assistant head of division (HR, Work Environment).

Management and Operations Council

The Management and Operations Council is made up of representatives (9 people) from the different areas of activity of the division. The main focus of the Management Council is to support the management in cross-project operational and development issues of a strategic nature.
