Using AI services at work

AI comes with many benefits but also risks. If you use an AI service at work, you must ensure that you take measures to mitigate these risks. You can now find more information on this on the staff web.

SLU's Legal Affairs Unit have compiled advice based on applicable legislation and SLU policies and rules on e.g. the processing of personal data. The language team explains what you must do if you use AI as a tool for creating, translating or revising text.

Here are some of the key points:

  • Never submit sensitive personal data or data that is subject to confidentiality to an AI service.

  • Always review the results before using or disseminating them.

  • Make it clear that an AI service has been used to generate content.
