Workplace strategy for offices and labs in the Western Node

Published: 11 December 2024

We are now taking the next step in creating modern and efficient work environments. Using the evidence-based methodology from WeOffice, work is underway to develop a long-term workplace strategy.

A workplace strategy is a long-term plan that outlines how workplaces should be designed, organised, and managed to support organisational goals and employee needs. It focuses on creating a work environment that promotes productivity, collaboration, and well-being by optimising processes and technical solutions.

Employee and managerial participation are central to the development of the strategy. Their input ensures that the solutions are tailored to the organisation's conditions. The strategy will provide clear guidelines for the sizing and design of the workplaces.

Two focus areas

The project is divided into two parts:

  • Office workspaces: Developing workplace strategies for office environments.
  • Lab analysis: Investigating and proposing solutions for future lab environments.

All employees affected by the project will be invited to workshops and surveys to share their needs, experiences, and ideas.

Clear proposals and decision-making support

WeOffice will deliver a detailed report describing how the future workplaces can be designed, including concrete solution proposals. This material will serve as a basis for decisions in planning the future layout of our facilities.

Work has already begun and is expected to be completed by May 2025. Stay tuned for more information and opportunities to participate in the process!
