The Uppsala library temporarily relocates

In 2025–2026, the Uppsala library will be reconstructed to create a more functional and modern university library. During the move to temporary facilities 9–12 January, the library will be closed. On 13 January, we will open in Ulls hus, 3rd floor.
Opening hours and requests
The temporary library in Ulls hus is accessible when the building is open or with an access card. Staff are on hand 10.00–16.00.
The temporary library will mainly house newer publications and course literature, while older material can be requested. You can easily request materials via the library’s website.

Employees will no longer be able to order books and printed articles to the workplace.
The library is closed 9–12 January, but you can return books in the book deposit box at the upstairs entrance. The library’s digital services are not affected during the reconstruction.
