World Health Day 2023 - Health for all

World Health Day is celebrated annually and each year draws attention to a specific health topic of concern to people all over the world. The date of 7 April marks the anniversary of the founding of WHO in 1948. This year's theme is Health for All. Explore SLU's interdisciplinary efforts to reach health for all.

The research area One Health aim to grow knowledge about the interaction between animal-, human- and ecosystem health. This complex relationship requires an interdisciplinary approach and collaboration between veterinary medicine, epidemiology, ecology, animal husbandry, human medicine, behavioral science, economics and several other scientific disciplines. At SLU, there is broad competence within the One Health area.
