Ukraine – trying to put the unimaginable into words

– Following the Government’s request, SLU and other Swedish universities have paused collaborations with Russian state institutions. Some individual collaborations may continue under certain conditions. I would never have imagined that one day, war and global politics would dictate who we can collaborate and research with. However, as a public authority we must do our bit, whichever way we can. Our academic values and democratic principles will be more important than ever as decisions are taken from now on.
