Published: 23 August 2021

The vice-chancellor decided on June 30 2021 on guidelines for SLU publications. The purpose of SLU's guidelines for publications is to act as quality assurance for the university's publications and to create the conditions for their increased accessibility, visibility, and usage.

The scope of the guidelines includes publications and series published by faculties and departments, or other organisational units within SLU and they apply to all publication types. Typically it refers to doctoral and licentiate theses, reports and fact sheets.

The guidelines include the following components:

  • open access
  • copyright licenses from Creative Commons (CC)
  • responsibilities
  • graphic profile and bibliographic information
