Thesis Day will take place despite the current corona pandemic. We’re happy to present a new, virtual format. All SLU students, regardless of where they study, can take part.

The new format consists of three parts:

Digital poster exhibition

All students at SLU who write their degree project during the academic year 19/20 are invited to present themself and their poster on a dedicated page on the Thesis Day campaign web. Take a sneak peek at

Marketing to business representatives

Business representatives will be invited to take part in the campaign website and the students' degree projects.

Our students can link to their presentation page when they market themself and their skills to possible future employers.

Virtual closing ceremony

During the closing ceremony the entire SLU get the opportunity to honor and celebrate our students academic achievements. This year the closing ceremony will be live streamed.

Listen to presentations by students and alumni, and watch as the award for best poster is announced. Svante Axelsson, SLU alumnus of the year 2019 and a well-known name in environmental circles, and the vice-chancellor will give speeches to the students.

Who can attend Thesis Day

Students, teachers, supervisors, course leaders and all other staff at SLU are welcome to watch the digital poster exhibition and take part in the live-streamed presentations.

We also encourage you as business representative to participate in Thesis Day. Maybe you can recruit one of our students for your business.
